Shaped a new corporate-card and expense product from a blank page to a shipped v1 — defining the core object model, the receipt-capture flow, and the approvals experience finance teams actually trust.
The work
Process
Ran discovery with 18 finance managers and card-holders, then pressure-tested three product directions with clickable prototypes. Locked the data model early, designed the mobile capture and web approvals surfaces in parallel, and shipped behind a flag to a design-partner cohort before general release.
Outcome
Reached activated-team status for 74% of design partners within two weeks, with median time-to-first-approval under 90 seconds. The v1 shipped on schedule and became the anchor for the company's Series A story.
